Vandalism

edit

Currently this article is being vandalized by many editors. The controversy surrounding Javed Habib spitting on a woman's head has triggered this row of vandalism. Senior editors should keep a vigilant watch on this article for at least the next few weeks. Thank you Charvak157 (talk) 03:05, 7 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

No explanation has been provided for this revert even after multiple discussions[1][2] so far. The edit added the template which claims that the person is not notable and that is beyond WP:DE. Other than that it removed "He later apologised for the act" and added back the misrepresentation that "He also claimed ‘This spit has life'" which is being presented as if he justified his act with that 'claim' when confronted. The objected edit also moves the controversy to the lead despite it has no effect on his career. Per WP:UNDUE and WP:NPOV this edit should be reverted. If there isn't an explanation provided in, say, a couple of days, I'll be granting this request. @AnM2002 and DMySon: courtesy pings. El_C 13:35, 10 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
As the original writer of that version, I also support the restoration. Abhishek0831996 (talk) 03:43, 11 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
this revert is well referenced (controversy) information about the subject, that must not be deleted from the page. DMySon (talk) 07:44, 11 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Done. DMySon, you're really expected to offer more. Please be responsive / substantive. Your terse declarative reply above falls short. El_C 15:13, 11 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

I disagree because he is generally described as "Hair stylist Jawed Habib".[3][4] AnM2002 (talk) 04:00, 16 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Declining for now; please re-open request if new sources are provided. Best, SpencerT•C 17:27, 18 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
