Javier Arenas (Spanish politician) → Javier Arenas (politician) – Per WP:CONCISE, the disambiguation should be as concise as possible. No evidence of another politician with this name, so Javier Arenas (politician) is the correct article name. Joseph2302 (talk) 21:54, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
- Support. This is basically an uncontroversial technical request. The article was created in June 2007 and its parenthetical qualifier "(Spanish politician)" was added in January 2009 in an attempt to make the main title header unnecessarily analogous to Javier Arenas (American football).
