Tense? edit

The article says stuff like "the language shared 90% of vocabulary with Djab wurrung" and they "were a matrilineal society" (emphasis added)...does that mean the people have all died out or the group has become diluted/mixed into others? If so, that should be expressed in the very beginning of the article. If not (more likely), this stuff should be changed to present tense. —Politizer talk/contribs 10:22, 24 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Have found evidence (this, inter alia) to indicate that the group still exists. ("The area is known to the Jardwadjali peoples...") Will align tenses accordingly. Hassocks5489 (tickets please!) 12:52, 24 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
