Patterns
editThis article talked about the multipliers (Fan)which are gotten by completing certain patterns, but doesn't mention the patterns at all. That's probaly the most important part of scoring (Base points don't really play that big of a role. Anyone want to go ahead and put them in? Archon Wing 19:07, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- A separate article lists the yaku (役) and their han (翻 or 飜) values. Perhaps we need a better way of organizing these pages together aside from the sporadic yaku inline linking in this article; apart from that they appear somewhat disjointed. For now adding that page to the See Also section of this article seems appropriate. Cerebralix (talk) 03:25, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

What is Japanese Mahjong?
editThis article s linked to the Mahjong article, but not vice versa. Instead, the Mahjong article only has a sentence or two of it in its variations section. What is riichi? What is dora? Can you guys please just put up even an itsy-bitsy article about Japanese mahjong and link this article to it? Alphapeta (talk) 00:40, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Final Points Question
editI understand the "Final points and place" section, but when I go to apply it here (http://www.mahjongdragon.com/japanese-mahjong.php) it doesn't work out. Is there perhaps an alternate scoring method? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.194.70.78 (talk) 01:38, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
