Non-existence of Japanese-Dutch dictionary edit

There is a statement in the article about the Dutch giving technology to Japan but there never being a dictionary by means of which to translate between the two languages, even to this day. The cultures communicate somehow.

I cannot check the source; it is Dutch. If there is anything more to say about this, there ought to be a link to another Wikipedia article about Japanese-Dutch relations but I cannot find an appropriate one. Blue Rasberry 21:25, 24 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
