I do not agree that Jansen is a Scandinavian name. In Holland it is one of the most common names, and we Dutch are not Scandinavian. One cannot say that the name originated in Scandinavia either. Also: Johannes is a current name in Holland, it is not 'old German'. I do not know very well how to edit a Wikipedia page, so I hope someone who knows will make the changes I propose: "Jansen is a northern European name."
