What sort of a cousin?
editThis article states that Janine is a cousin of Nicephore Niepce. He died 88 years before she was born. I think it unlikely that she can be a regular cousin. I've tried hard and the maths don't work. Am I missing something obvious? Plingsby (talk) 16:05, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
One of the first?
editThe bald claim that Niépce was amongst the first photojournalists in France needs correcting... Denise Bellon predates her amongst women photographers, as do Cartier-Bresson, Charles Chusseau-Flaviens, Jules Gervais-Courtellemont, Léon Gimpel, André Kertész among the men. Marc Riboud was a contemporary, and she worked with the Swiss-French Sabine Weiss, also a near contemporary, at Rapho --Jamesmcardle(talk) 06:39, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
