Sources Found for Article Updating edit

The following source I have not been able to access yet (I have requested a copy via the library), but once I do I believe it will make a good primary source of information from Janet Asimov herself.

[1]

The next source is a newspaper article discussing the AIDS-related death of her husband and has a few insightful remarks that give insight into Janet Asimov's character.

Medical writing edit

She did not author any of the papers listed under "Medical writing"

She did: the last 5 authors are omitted from the first ref and she is listed under her birth name Jeppson in the other two. PamD 18:27, 7 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Notable? edit

What is the basis of Janet Asimov's notability? As far as I can tell, her only claim to notability is having been married to Isaac Asimov, but that's not a basis of her own notability; WP:NOTINHERITED. None of her writings appear to have been given any awards, let alone significant ones, and her academic career does not meet WP:NPROF. So, by what means does she meet the notability requirement? By being a successful author in her own right, you twat. Richard75 (talk) 19:18, 17 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Personal life edit

This article has no information at all about her personal life, except for her marriage. It would be good if we could fix that. Richard75 (talk) 19:19, 17 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Doctors prevented? edit

The bit about doctors preventing the disclosure of Isaac’s AIDS is puzzling. Can doctors in the USA forbid you to talk freely about your husband’s diseases? --82.37.67.151 (talk) 16:20, 14 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

It was probably just strong advice. Richard75 (talk) 12:57, 17 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
