Lovely images - although mostly about the house, it discusses Mary's will and her desire that it be inherited only by unmarried females.
Mountaineering and [1] and [2] (thesis but..) and [3] (1786, extraordinarily early!) - 1st recorded women to ascend Mont Buet. That's definitely worth a mention, and there's a DYK hook if one is interested.
