Militia vs army edit

This is one example of many articles, not just on the Black Hawk War, where militia service has been confused with being in the US Army. Strode did not have a military "career" in the usual sense of that word. He was a lawyer and politician who served in the militia for brief times during emergencies. The military infobox is not really correct here, since soldiering was not his profession. —Kevin Myers 03:43, 24 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
