Contested deletion edit

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because TeriEmbrey and I (who work together on the WP:GLAM/PMML), in an effort to convert a long list of publications to prose, have decided that it would be best to have a separate article listing all of McPherson's publications while discussing his more notable works on the James M. McPherson article in prose. See also this edit for context that prompted our discussion. --I, JethroBT drop me a line 03:15, 15 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'm cleaning this up a little and adding information about new editions (but not reprintings) by looking at WorldCat's listing of all editions of each book.

Quick question though - wouldn't it be useful to include the ISBN 13 of the most recent version for the books that were first printed before Battle Cry? If yes, how would I format that? These are the only two entries for which this might apply.

The Struggle for Equality: Abolitionists and the Negro in the Civil War and Reconstruction. Princeton, NJ: Princeton University Press, 2014.
