The Morris reference lacks 1865 dates, and conflicts with other sources; it seems clear enough that all the 1865 dates there have been put down as 1869 by mistake. The page numbers allow reconstruction of the months, and the resulting "puzzle" seems to have a unique solution. This gives something to verify in some other fashion.
