It should be noted that some texts stated that JCD was the publisher of works, like New Practice of the Court of Chancery (1852) though the likelihood of this prior to his being admitted to the Middle Temple seem unrealistic, and they should be better attributed to his father with a similar name. — billinghurst sDrewth 13:56, 25 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

JCD did write, and his works are correctly attributed in Allibone's supplement to the critical dictionary
