The result of the move request was: No consensus. James Green is a common name, there have been more than one James Greens who were politicians and people's middle initials or middle names are not always used by sources when referring to them. This adds up to quite a bit of ambiguity, and there was no consensus to settle for just James A. Green. EdJohnston (talk) 03:55, 24 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Oppose clearly in error. Examining the history of the redirect "James A. Green", it originally pointed to James Alexander Green, which is not James Allison Green, the topic of this article. Oppose on all counts, whether there are others with the same middle name or initial or not, it's not enough to allow them the sole use of politician given that other James Greens are politicians, and knowing the middle name is not always common.WildWikiGuy (talk) 19:54, 17 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
Support per nom. The only person in the list (barring a red link) actually known as James A. Green and certainly the only politician. The mathematician was actually known as Sandy Green, not James Green, James A. Green or James Alexander Green, so there is no earthly need to distinguish the politician from him.
