Regarding gallery edit

@Yamaguchi先生: Hey! You seem to be removing the image gallery for some reason. Can you explain why you think the gallery of images is indiscriminate? IMO the images should be left alone, wanted to ask why you feel like it doesn't fit in the article. --ShellPandey (talk) 06:06, 2 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello ShellPandey, thank you for the ping. There are currently 5 images placed adjacent to the article text, 1 additional in the infobox, plus 12 images presented in a gallery format. Generally speaking, Wikipedia is not an image repository (WP:NOTGALLERY), and galleries should not be used as a device to shoehorn images into an article. Some of these images are repetitive and provide little in the way of context. Would it not be feasible to relocate surplus images to Commons repository, where it would make sense to present these same images? Regards, Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 23:49, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
