Request updating facts about Jacobs Engineering group
editNote: I have a conflict of interest in that I work in Corporate Communications for Jacobs Engineering. However, out of date facts about the company in our Wikipedia article have been brought to our attention by a number of employees.
This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |

- ^ The source currently on page for this statement does not have any information on office count, as far as I could determine. Any information posted publicly would have to be issued by the company. The company fact sheet on our website ( http://www.jacobs.com/uploadedFiles/wwwjacobscom/30_See_our_results/32_News/Resources_and_downloads/Company%20Fact%20Sheet%20Feb%202016.pdf) states "more than 250." The number of offices listed on our website is the most up to date information on locations that we consider offices - currently 288 - but we prefer not to give a specific number as it may change monthly up or down..

- Hi Dan. I have updated the stats on offices and employees. Jacobs Engineering was not on the 2016 Forbes list; furthermore, the sentence in the article claiming Jacobs Engineering was on the 2014 list actually linked to the 2010 list instead of the 2014 list. Hence, I have removed that sentence entirely as it is out of date. Altamel (talk) 21:08, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
Removing "needs additional citations for verification" template
editThis is a skimpy little article about a major corporation. It has 12 citations which need to be reformatted but verify the info. As noted above, some may be outdated, but they were true. Jacobs has a 5-star rating on the S&P 500. Maybe it needs a template about updating, but not about verifying. Imho. So I'm removing it. YoPienso (talk) 07:41, 27 February 2017 (UTC)

Locus Engineering Investiment
editI have added a citation needed tag to the final paragraph regarding Jacobs' investment in Locus Engineering as I cannot find any evidence on either Jacobs', Locus' or generally online to back up this claim.
