Merge to list until more info is added?

Well yeah he is notable.. but this article is a concern for me now. I cut the plot down a great deal, hard to believe there was more to add to the mass that it already there I know. Whoever made the plit for the article, was devious. They dressed up over 10 DigitalSpy spoiler/recaps as actual refs reporting news. So basically it has two refs. A lot of the recaps support nothing or very little. So I was thinking I should remove them and merge him to the list of minor character. He can be split off again when more work is done. These over imaginitive super fans keep coming here and making the page worse by editing as they please with no insight to how the place works. Which is fine, but seeings as I have tried to sway a few into learning how to add correct material and learn the MoS - nothing came of it.. So who would support a merge and who would be agaisnt it?Rain the 1 ^BAM 17:56, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

I imagine that he is notable, and five of the references are "news" rather than "spoilers", but one is used to reference the plot and the two in the lead could be used to add more real-world information. The plot doesn't necessarily need to be sourced, so you could potentially remove those references. If more info was taken from refs 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6, what would the article look like? If some could be replaced with non-Digital Spy refs that would be good. I think work can be done before considering merging it. –anemoneprojectors– 18:16, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

Once I started to cut the plot, but in the end I took "Why should I improve it" attitude. I haven't watched Emmerdale properly for a year, So I only know the basics about Jackson. I didn't think you would want to improve it JG. Do you want to do a collab?Rain the 1 ^BAM 19:45, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

A collab sounds good. I've started a reception section and I was thinking of adding the following subsections; Characterisation, Relationship with Aaron Livesy, Introduction of family (though that could be included in Characterisation), Train crash and quadriplegia and finally Departure. - JuneGloom Talk 20:09, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

I'm going to trim the storylines now, the Jackson/Aaron (Jaron?) fans won't be happy, but I'm sure they'll get over it in time. I don't mind which section you want. Have you seen this - I thought it could have some character info - something more than DS reported on.. but Silcock says the most unbelievable thing: "It's uncomfortable enough having to watch to blokes kiss" - Not sure if he meant to say that - quite annoying really.
