Possible Date Confusion edit

The information for this article was compiled though Internet searches. There does appear to be some confusion in dates since his article in "Making a difference: Rhodes Scholars review how the Scholarship shaped their lives"^[1].

The article is dated October 2000, but it mentions his DPhil, which an Oxford reference^[2] lists as occuring in 2004.

Additionally, there are continuing references to Jack Turner at Oxford (the volleyball^[3] reference and another article on recent relay race entry). It seems unlikely that he would still be participating in sports at Oxford after having moved to other countries.

I am wondering if there are perhaps two different Jack Turners. If that is so, then probably all references to Jack Turner at Oxford AFTER 2000 are the second Jack Turner. Though that still does not explain the DPhil discrepancy, which puts Turner back at Oxford at least in 2004.

I am sorry if this confuses anyone else, but I am a bit confused, too.

One other question I have is where are the Turners currently living? The publisher's website claims Geneva, but I cannot find any other reference to Geneva or a date. In fact, there are no dates at all that I could find for any of the places he's lived. I have listed the places as accurately as I can infer from the various references, but it is possible that the list is incomplete or even somewhat misleading.

If anybody can provide more accurate information or verify the information I have provided is correct, I would really appreciate it. I am just a fan of What the Ancients Knew, and I wanted to know more about Jack Turner. This article is the result of that quest. I have no direct knowledge of the person at all.
