According his granddaughter, "Shine On Harvest Moon" was actually written by Dave Stamper, and sold outright to Jack Norworth. This was not an uncommon thing during that time period.K8 fan 19:15, 15 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

File:Bayesjack.jpg - Questionable claim edit

I have added a {{fact}} to the caption of File:Bayesjack.jpg; the image it is credited as being a poster for the Acousticon Hour. Given that from what I can find Norworth and Bayes split up c. 1913 (a decade and a half before the radio show) and the visible text mentions "Keith's" but not "Acousticon", the claim looks questionable to me. I note that the web page the photo is from no longer exists, and the Internet Archive Wayback doesn't have a copy of it

I notice the claim was added by User:Cculber007 in this edit. I am also asking User:Cculber007 and the file's original Wikipedia uploader, User:Pepso2 about the photo on their talk page. -- 00:04, 21 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Pepso2 removed the claim, and states it appears to be incorrect [1]. Unless Cculber007 provides some unexpected additional info, I think it should stay off. Infrogmation (talk) 01:35, 21 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
