On hold for one week. --Whiteguru (talk) 12:23, 6 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Whiteguru: I'd be interested to hear what others think, but I don't believe that most of what has been raised needs addressing. The items raised mostly involve quotes which are supported by reliable sources, and I don't feel they make the article unbalanced. I'm particularly confused that "club's youngest ever debutant" has been flagged, as it's a statement of fact. I have, however, removed some of the passages that weren't particularly notable, such as the quote that "Manager Billy Davies said that he was pleased to bring Hobbs to the club". Mattythewhite (talk) 00:53, 7 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

I would agree, there are a few points that could be addressed but most of the quotes seem fine. Comments from managers about weather he played good or not are perfectly legit. REDMAN 2019 (talk) 18:20, 11 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Mattythewhite:@REDMAN 2019: For your edification, here is the nomination from the talk page history, which placed this article on GAR:
03:34, 20 April 2020‎ 90.253.129.148 talk‎ 2,768 bytes +16‎ Difficult to summarise, but the tone of this one belies its status as a good article. It's a touch too sympathetic and—while certainly a comprehensive article for a footballer of this level—appears to have bias towards its subject. undo

This was found to have some substance. Are you now satisfied, with current edits to the article, that it meets Good Article status? --Whiteguru (talk) 20:49, 12 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Whiteguru, I have made a few changes to the page. Are there any other concerns? REDMAN 2019 (talk) 15:44, 14 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
REDMAN 2019 The edits are noteworthy and resolve the issues outlined. I thank you for your courtesy. The article will keep GA status. --Whiteguru (talk) 03:51, 17 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
