Ah yes, one of the rarest VB games. Looks interesting, will get to this one later tonight or tomorrow.

Lead

• released in September 1995 in Japan and in October or November 1995 in North America - The use or "or" here sounds weak and unsure. You could just say "released in fall 1995 in Japan and US." We don't know the exact US release dates and it's possible there never was a solidified exact date like every game in modern times.

• I dislike using terms like "fall" - even when it's specifically about the US and therefore obviously means near the end of the year, a reader from Australia or NZ might instinctively think of the beginning of the year - so I just combined them into "in late 2015" for both regions in the lead

• Consider adding credits to the infobox. They are available on moby games

• Moby Games isn't a reliable source, so I can't use that.

• Add "|image has rationale=yes" tag to licensing section for image file

• Well, that message specifically says it's for admins and patrollers when they confirm that it has a rationale. I'm neither.

Gameplay and premise

Reception

• Jack Bros. was well received, with multiple critics calling it one of the best Virtual Boy games; some thought that it was held back by the platform, and that it should be made available on other platforms, such as the Nintendo 3DS. - When I began reading this sentence, I thought this was reception at the time of release, but then the 3DS is mentioned. Make it clear that this is in retrospect, like "Jack Bros. has been well received in retrospective reviews, with multiple critics..."

@IDV: Looks good. There are some let's plays on youtube that have credits at end but only problem is staff first names are initialized. Not sure if that helps. Either way this passes! TarkusAB 17:10, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

Editing the first line in the premise section to include common names for the demons and to make a bit less repetitive

• Jack Bros. follows the three Jack brothers – Jack Frost, Jack Lantern and Jack Skelton – who have traveled from the fairy world to the human world through a portal that opens every year on Halloween.

This line is not only very similar to a line in the introductory paragraph, but I feel like it's missing key information about the characters in a series context; in the original Japanese release, and in almost every other Megami Tensei game, Jack Lantern and Jack Skelton are referred to as Pyro Jack and Jack the Ripper respectively. I feel like something like this would work better;

I'd have made the edit already, but I'm not sure if this is cool with the style guide, and I'm not sure what to cite for the demons' names.
