Talk:J. Redwood Anderson

Latest comment: 17 years ago by B. Wolterding in topic Expert review

I don't think notability should be an issue here. "Redwood Anderson" Googles 600 hits, all of whom are going to be this guy, I think. "Minor poet", yes, but not so minor that WP shouldn't have him.

Here's a source: a dealer's page, so not great for the article. But there is plenty about the poet. Charles Matthews 18:36, 7 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Closing review. There was no response, but User:Deb removed the notability tag, which I count as a "keep" vote. --B. Wolterding 13:41, 3 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

As part of the Notability wikiproject, I am trying to sort out whether this poet is notable enough for an own article. I could use some help from an expert. Actually, the sources given currently don't convince me (as far as I have access to them); they don't seem to contain substantial coverage on this person. His plays were published and produced, but that does not directly imply notability. Google turned up a number of book seller's sites, but nothing relevant. But of course, since this artist died 1964, one would not expected to find many relevant hits here. Could you have a look and tell me whether the article is worth keeping?
