I'm trying to understand this mass of name changes for this player. His name per tennis registration is J. J. Wolf. Why is this not shown as his article name? Fyunck(click) (talk) 01:51, 1 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Fyunck(click): I have no idea what the initial changes were about. I just came in and tried to clean up the mess left behind. I know the page was originally at Jeffrey John Wolf but I don't believe that is his WP:COMMONNAME. Are you saying the page should be moved to include a space before the two J's? No, I'm just trying to find out why all the changes. J. J. was just a typo on my part. His official instagram uses "JJ Wolf" no periods. His college profile at Ohio State uses "JJ Wolf". His facebook account uses "JJ Wolf." But he registered with the governing body of tennis as "J.J. Wolf". So those are really our only two choices. Since he's only notable for tennis I'd say it stays at J.J. Wolf unless he re-registers with the ITF. Fyunck(click) (talk) 18:16, 1 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
