@Scope creep: Fellowships and elected memberships can show a subject meets WP:PROF. Paid memberships are different. I believe the elected fellowships and memberships are listed in the honors section which I do believe should remain. The rest is WP:FLUFF and WP:NOTCATALOG. A selected works section can be included, but be focused to his most influential works as determined by reviews and/or citations by other scholars.
