Eugenics edit

I'll try to enlarge this article.Wikipedia has almost nothing about eugenics in Brazil and Latin America. This man was the leader of eugenics in Brazil.Agre22 (talk) 13:29, 11 June 2008 (UTC)agre22Reply

Eugenics nowadays (hoje em dia) is considered to be a mixture of pseudoscience and elitism (if not racismo). Brazil today is proud to be a multiracial nation, something that eugenics would have held as unwanted. You will have to present your subject so that he is not judged by standards that were not of his time. Let me know if you would like me to help with the copy edit.--Wloveral (talk) 03:02, 12 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Many failures edit

The article writes:"The only negative aspect of Afrânio Peixoto's highly successful career in medicine was his dispute with Brazilian parasitologist Carlos Chagas over the cause of what later became known as Chagas disease. " This brazilian eugenicist failed in medicine, not just in this case, but in many other things.Agre22 (talk) 01:47, 25 April 2009 (UTC)agre22Reply
