Of course Józef Żabiński is notable! He was a major organizer of rich and strong chess life on Polish lands and in Poland, when or around the time when Poland was a chess super-power (see its olympic successes between World War I and II), when among Polish chess players were world leading figures like Zukertort, Winawer, Rubinstein, and famous, still very strong players like Salwe, Tartakower, Przepiórka, Najdorf, ... -- 'nough said Wlod (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 17:48, 20 October 2011 (UTC).Reply
