editDespite what 100.16.232.171 thinks, Ján Kellner was not Jewish, Ashkenazi or other. He was also neither German nor Dutch. References in the article should bear ample evidence to that; should that not suffice, perhaps one should mention that I personally know his family and they are neither Jewish, nor German, nor Dutch, they are local, Slovak people from the area. 100.16.232.171 please stop making unsubstantiated claims about his ethnicity based just on his name or surname. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Martluk11 (talk • contribs) 16:02, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
@100.16.232.171: I would kindly ask 100.16.232.171 to explain, how the fact that there are many instances of people with a specific surname that are Jewish substantiate your claim that every person with that surname is also Jewish, especially in the case of such a generic name as Kellner, that could have easily arisen at various places independently of each other. I would also ask you to explain, after reading upon what Ethnicity means, which states that it is a 'category of people who identify with each other based on similarities', why do you think it is irrelevant, what ethnicity the closest relatives of Ján Kellner identify with, but you deem relevant, what ethnicity other people with surname Kellner identify with.
