Do NOT merge, too much useful info here to mergeZisimos 15:16, 30 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes, definitely merge. This information only appears in, and is only relevant to, the first Ghostbusters film. It's barely even notable enough for inclusion in an encyclopedia in the first place. -- 65.116.251.178 20:31, 18 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Spelling edit

Are we sure about the spelling of the name? Tobin's Spirit Guide for the Ghostbusters role-playing game spells it Ivo Chandor. Gladrius 18:03, 23 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

pee-wee? edit

Wait a minute, Pee-Wee Herman was cast as Gozer?

name edit

F.Y.I. - Ivo Shandor would be a Hungarian name, the Hungarian spelling with the same pronunciation would be Evo Sandor (with accent marks I don't have on this keyboard) it could be Ivó Sándor too.

I think with this we go with the spelling in the movie? Perhaps?

IVO SHANDOR, I saw his name in Tobin's
Spirit Guide. He started a secret
                society in 1920.

From :[[1] Of course, this could be wrong for the movie too, in which case we need to change it to the right spelling. IvoShandor 07:58, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ivo isn't a Hungarian name. I'm Hungarian, but I never heard about any Hungarian person named Ivo. It's seems to be slavic (especially Slovenian or Croatian) name. Sándor really a popular Hungarian given name (originated from Alexander), and sometimes appears as surname too. So, Ivo Shandor may have mixed slavic-hungarian origin. 193.225.153.254 07:21, 16 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

For the record, I didn't make the original remark about the Hungarian origin of the name. IvoShandor 10:36, 31 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
