No, that is unlikely. Apparently he studied law in the south of France for one year (at age 18 or 19), but there's no evidence that he went on to become a lawyer, and I don't see any interviews where he ever claimed to be a lawyer. Ivan Doroschuk is not listed as a lawyer by either the Law Society of British Columbia (where he now lives) or the Barreau du Québec (where he used to live). It seems that somebody here is trying to change history, but it's well-sourced factual information that Ivan was born in 1957. However painful that fact might be to Ivan or his colleagues, it's a verifiable fact from reliable published third-party sources. Note that Ivan's younger brother Colin was born in 1959 (see here)!
