POV fork? edit

At the moment this article reads like a POV fork of Education in Malaysia. I've opened a discussion about these problematic articles there, and so anyone interested should probably have a look. Johnleemk | Talk 21:00, 1 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

This is in fact a badly sourced, badly written POV fork. I intend to have nominate it at AfD in the next day or so. Monkeyassault (talk) 14:56, 17 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Racial Quotas edit

This paragraph needs some serious referencing (particularly the ones that are in bold):

"Racial quotas, a highly politicised and controversial issue in Malaysia, exist for university admission. In 2002 the government announced a reduction of reliance on racial quotas, instead leaning more towards meritocracy. However, in 2004, 128 students who obtained 5As in the STPM (the best possible grade for university application) were denied their first choice of course which was medicine. This is part of an ongoing issue, where the only thing these students had in common was that they were non-Malay or non-Bumiputra. All students managed to successfully gain offers to private institutions but some did not pursue a medical education due to lack of funds and financial support." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.48.216.197 (talk) 02:21, 18 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
