Hebrew edit

Could someone add the Hebrew for the Israel-Jordan Treaty of Peace to go with the Arabic? Thanks. Jonny May.

Article name edit

Why is this article named Israel–Jordan Treaty of Peace? Is that a common or accepted name? Sounds like a form of Engrish to me, although I could be wrong of course. A clarification would be appreciated, or a move to Israel–Jordan Peace Treaty. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 01:26, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Support the move, "Israel–Jordan Peace Treaty" is the term used by the Jordanian and Israeli governments. Imad marie (talk) 18:03, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Off topic material edit

This is an article about a peace treaty between two countries. Material that does not specifically discuss this treaty will be removed.--Geewhiz (talk) 14:29, 26 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Peace treaty edit

It is not usefull to include all headings of the Peace treaty, along with interpretations of WP editors. Link to the text is added. So I summarized. --Wickey-nl (talk) 14:52, 7 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

There is a citation error because of a bad URL in the second footnote citation, Clyde Haberman (27 October 1994). "Israel and Jordan Sign a Peace Accord". The New York Times. Retrieved 12 November 2017. The name of the article in the footnote is a hyperlink to [1]https://www.nytimes.com/learning/general/onthisday/big/1026.html. However, this URL redirects to [2]https://www.nytimes.com/section/learning.

The original article being referenced is now archived, so the new URL is [3]https://archive.nytimes.com/www.nytimes.com/learning/general/onthisday/big/1026.html.

Thus, the hyperlink attached to "Israel and Jordan Sign a Peace Accord" should be changed:

In the phrase in the first sentence, "...ended the state of war that has existed..." would someone with The Power please change "has" to "had"? It should be in the past tense because "ended" is in the past tense. Cassandratoday (talk) 02:19, 20 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
