Talk:Islamic Society of Sydney Boys High

Does this really warrant an article on its own - unless justified, I will put it up on AfD. --AMorris (talk)(contribs) 22:27, 10 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

yes of course it does.
I dont believe it does - it has only been around for three/four years and is highly irrelevent to anyone outside the school. I believe that at best it should be merged with the Sydney Boys article. Oh and sign your posts --AMorris (talk)(contribs) 07:42, 11 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

anthony, please refrain from talking. this society is now knows country wide. please refrain from making judgements as to its impact, it is known throughout the muslim community. so it does deserve an article

Your article is heavily opinionated and appears to be maintained as some form of quasi-official outlet from the ISSBH. That is not the point of Wikipedia. It also fails to comply with the Wikipedia Manner and Style guidelines. --60.225.8.243 08:41, 6 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is this an advert?

I would dispute the fact that the society is now known country wide. I live in Sydney, recently finished high school and know a couple of SBHS graduates and have never heard of the society; I doubt I am the only one. If the society is indeed well known throughout Australian Muslim society, publication of an article of this nature would be better suited to a publication with an intended Muslim audience. The motivation and purpose behind the article does not appear to correspond with that of Wikipedia. SSouthwell 12:29, 1 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

fair enough, i believe i may have been a bit too opinionated in writing this piece. i shall change it now. i hope that puts an end to this. i believe it is vital for the society to have a wikipedia entry
