Pink Iguana edit

Can we add the brand new pink iguana they just found on Wolf volcano to the list of animals found on Isabela Island? Cf. Pink Iguana Is Distinct in Other Ways Too, from the New York Times on the Web, January 5, 2009. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rcgy (talkcontribs) 13:47, 10 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Article Evaluation edit

The citations in this article need to be improved. None of the information in the geology section or other points of interest is cited and the citations in the wildlife section are lacking. The article could benefit from further discussion of what life is like on the island today. There is no mention of tourism in the Human Occupation Section and tourism is the fastest growing sector on the island. Nor is there any mention of Concha de Perla, a popular snorkeling destination, or the tortoise breeding center. In the Other points of interest section, I question the necessity of the parenthetical (with occasional pink visitors). There are indeed flamingos in the lagoon and that statement seems a little too playful for an objective article about the island.Kdarr (talk) 00:09, 1 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
