Disambiguation and book article needed edit

As the article correctly mentions, "It is based on a best-selling book by Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre..." ...there is a book that has no article or mention anywhere else in Wikipedia. i'm putting the article about the book in the list of Requested Articles. --AVM (talk) 13:54, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Some cultural references edit

I have moved these here:

The issue is whether these "references" are referring to Hitler's famous question, or to this not-so-famous movie.

Move reverted. edit

I have reverted an undiscussed move of this page. WP:RM specifically requires obtaining consensus before moving a page with incoming links to create a disambiguation page. You must use the WP:RM process, and you must fix all incoming links before carrying out the move. bd2412 T 12:55, 19 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

– This move conforms to the pattern for “No primary topic” at WP:Disambiguation. I contend that that there is no primary topic, as the book and film are equally notable (google searches for the book and the film give  69,000 and 84,000 hits respectively). Also, if the film has more page views, I suggest the book has more long-term significance (the article at this title in the Britannica is for the book, not the film). This arrangement is consistent with that of other language WPs which have articles on both book and film, such as French and Spanish. Swanny18 (talk) 18:14, 14 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Support. Upon review, I don't see a case for their being a clear primary topic for this title. bd2412 T 22:25, 14 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • support first move (film), oppose second A disambig of two entries that are so directly related looks silly. Move the book to primary and hatnote. -- Netoholic @ 03:49, 15 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per nomination and bd2412. No evidence of either the book or the film demonstrating sufficient primacy over the other to qualify as WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 08:21, 15 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Support both three items on dab and 180 degree flips bad for readers and links. In ictu oculi (talk) 10:17, 17 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
