The correct terminology used for Iron rod in construction engineering (and marketing) is not clear for me. Please help! Sohale 14:29, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

What's going on here

I doubt iron rod is really made out of wrought iron as it is no longer commercially produced. If it used to be please note that and add sources. Also, can this be merged with another article because there isn't enough information here to warrant it's own article.
