The Honourable the Irish Society edit
There is another Irish Society; The Honourable The Irish Society which was/is commonly known as the Irish Society. It was formed in 1613 and it might be an idea to rename this article and use this page for disambiguation to both articles. Question is what to call this article? Founding year edit
Hi, I have in front of me the "Report of the fourteenth Anniversary of the Irish Society of London, for promoting the education and religious instruction of the native Irish, through the medium of their own language" from 1836. On the title, there is also written "instituted 25th March, 1822". Is this society identical with the own discribed in this article?
