You are being overly critical of the exact term or order of words.
They may be called
- Invited Tenders
- Prequalified Tenders
- Short Listed Tenders
- Selective Tendering
and probably another half dozen terms to set them appart from Open Public Tendering which azre different.
This is the whole point of the article. Which is to identify and explain these two distinct forms of doing public works tenders in Ontario.
In some countries Invited Tenders are illegal. In Fact in Ontario 30 years agoo it was against the procurement laws to invite or short list public tenders as it was considered everyones right to participate in public tenders. This is no longer the case and governments in Ontario are free to do whatever the administrators want with the billions of dollars spend on public procurement as we all saw with Adscam. — Preceding unsigned comment added by WikiWoo (talk • contribs)
- WikiWoo, can you provide reliable sources for these statements? For example, find a magazine, journal or newspaper article that discusses this and then use the material in that article to write the article. You should concentrate on a few articles with good, reliable sources, rather than inserting material into multiple articles based only on your experience. Your experience may be great, but it is not verifiable and so cannot be the basis of a Wikipedia article. If you want to share your experience with the world on the Internet, a better forum for you may be a blog or your own website. JChap (talk • contribs) 15:53, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
Anything useful in this article belongs in Tenders. That article can surely use a boost by describing different types of tenders. I suggest you merge the information there and then redirect this page to that one. King Tarlunka 17:41, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

- Only information that is verified by reliable sources should be merged. The criteria are described as "subjective." That seems POV. It would be better if the criteria typically used could be listed, again with reliable sources. JChap (talk • contribs) 20:24, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
