Lead section changes edit

The second paragraph of the lead section (re-written slightly by me) has no reference cited, but the information is indeed verifiable, sourced from the album insert in the Into the Electric Castle special edition re-issue. Tittery (talk) 02:05, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Minor: edit

In my revisions, the second one I made to the article started with "Track Listing:" but really should have said "Personnel" as that was the section I modified. Tittery (talk) 01:17, 20 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Talk page cleanup edit

The discussion points on this page were two unsigned fragmented sentences talking exclusively about the quality of the album, I felt this was inappropriate for the talk page and have thus removed them. I've also cleaned up the project boxes above and provided ratings. Tittery (talk) 03:12, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Disagree on the plot edit

The plot describes the Barbarian's gate choice as follows:

The Barbarian (Jay van Feggelen), in his arrogance and pride, walks through the golden gate regardless to his companion's choice, and fall into oblivion forever.

I don't agree with this, seeing as this is disputed by the following line in The Two Gates:

cowards whine beyond the olden gate, Valhalla shines beyond the golden gate

The Barbarian knew very well that the wooden gate was the gate to his world, but he didn't want to go there. Meanwhile, the concept of oblivion in barbarian mythology could be seen as synonymous with Valhalla. He knew what gate he chose, and did not do so out of arrogance and pride, but because he wasn't willing to head back to his world. Supertanno (talk) 00:44, 22 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

This article meets start-class standards. Tittery (talk) 03:11, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

==Re-assessment== Start class:

  •  Y A reasonably complete infobox
  •  Y A lead section giving an overview of the album
  •  Y A track listing
  •  Y Reference to at least primary personnel by name (must specify performers on the current album; a band navbox is insufficient)
  •  Y Categorisation at least by artist and year

C class:

  •  Y All the start class criteria
  •  Y A reasonably complete infobox, including cover art
  •  Y At least one section of prose (in addition to the lead section)
  •  Y A track listing containing track lengths and authors for all songs
  •  Y A "personnel" section listing performers, including guest musicians.

B class:

  •  Y All the C class criteria
  •  Y A completed infobox, including cover art and most technical details
  •  Y A full list of personnel, including technical personnel and guest musicians
  •  N No obvious issues with sourcing, including the use of blatantly improper sources.
  •  Y No significant issues exist to hamper readability, although it may not rigorously follow WP:MOS
The entire plot section needs citations.Andrzejbanas (talk) 19:14, 26 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
