Talk:Intertek/Archives/2014

As of 27 February 2014, conflict of interest tag

I removed the conflict of interest tag that I place on the article because the editor used the talk page to propose the edits first. Then, the since there was no response, edited the article. The editor may be an employee of the company in the communications department. I have not dug into each edit but the talk page documents the references used and, I consider, the proposed edits are responsible to the pillars of Wikipedia, if edited as described. I am more than willing to work with the editor on this and other articles, similar to my work on the Smithsonian Gardens or Damiani (jewelry company) article. Geraldshields11 (talk) 18:45, 27 February 2014 (UTC)

Assessment of article and not of company finances

I assessed the quality of the article as being C-status because the references are, in some cases, bare urls. Bare urls are not preferred because of link rot. The company is mid-importance but could be different because of regionalism. Also, a copy edit of the article may be needed but I do not have time this week.
