- The route description contains several short choppy sentences. Consider combining several of them to let prose flow. The route description also overuses the words "the road" and "the freeway". Consider finding other phrases like "the highway", "the roadway", or "it". "What is now the easternmost part of I-280 was legislated as Route 25A in 1939, a branch of Route 25 (US 1/9) from Jersey City west through Kearny and Harrison across the Passaic River and into Newark, connecting with Route 21 and Clifton Avenue." This seems like a very confusing sentence. Consider rewording or splitting into two sentences.
