Interstate 280 (Illinois–Iowa)Interstate 280 (Iowa–Illinois) – Westernmost state needs to be listed first, per WP:IH. Greggens (talk) 20:48, 11 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

I wholeheartedly agree that this page should be moved, but a redirect should still exist at the old name. This proposal should be listed on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject U.S. Roads. Charlotte Allison (Morriswa) (talk) 02:23, 12 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
Closing comments: Creation of this redirect is policy in any case. There seems no need to now list it at the Wikiproject. There are tools allowing members to monitor such activities should they wish to do so, and you had ample opportunity to list it there had you wished to do so, but you didn't. Let us move on. • Support. This is a non-controversial application of a non-controversial WikiProject guideline (WP:IH § Naming conventions: "If the Interstate enters more than two states, then list all states in the name, beginning with the western/southernmost state.
