Names section
The current Names section has two similar, but not exactly identical paragraphs, with mostly the same information, but not quite. Somebody who is local and familiar with the region is probably needed to merge the two together. If not, I'll take a shot at it (from 3000+ miles away). More on naming
The following names have been assigned; none appear to be in common use.
- 1957, I-805 to SR 91 via I-215 (CHC) used by Caltrans only in traffic counts
- 1979, I-8 to I-215 Temecula (legislature)
- 1990, San Diego/San Bernardino County line to Lake Elsinore (legislature) not used by Caltrans
- 1958, I-215 Temecula to I-10 via SR 71 (CHC) not used by Caltrans
- 1989, Limonite Avenue to I-215 Devore (legislature) not used by Caltrans
- 1958, Highland Avenue to Nevada via I-215 (CHC) used by Caltrans only in traffic counts
- 1987, I-215 Devore to Nevada (legislature) not used by Caltrans
I think we need to de-emphasize their use, since neither Caltrans nor the media uses them much. --NE2 09:36, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
Churn
So in all the churn, the pictures are lost again. Could you guys *please* come to some kind of agreement? There's no point in me taking and uploading photos if you're going to take them out repeatedly. Stan (talk) 14:32, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Southern terminus
Unless things have changed since last week (Feb '10), I-15 ends at I-8. The roadway from I-8 to I-5 is signed as SR-15, and has been since completion. 68.7.212.242 (talk) 05:20, 3 March 2010 (UTC)

Signed as I-15 now rather than SR 15

- Google is known for similar cartographic errors on occasion. I wouldn't ascribe any change in status to SR 15 to that error on their part. Once the one interchange is reconstructed, we should see some official announcement someplace of the redesignation, and that's when we can update this article. Imzadi 1979 → 19:31, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
