Health claims and notability
editRbotoy: I removed this sentence for now, "A preliminary (exploratory) study showed a significant reduction in the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) scores of adolescent patients presenting with clinical depression", because all health claims on WP, such as claiming an intervention is effective in reducing symptoms of depression, require high quality sources like systematic review articles and meta-analysis published in peer-reviewed journals, according to guideline on Identifying reliable sources (medicine) (aka MEDRS). Citing a developer's primary research is specifically precluded for medical claims.
Also, this intervention might not meet WP's notability guidelines yet. Are there any additional sources you can add that talk about I-CBT that weren't written by the developer? Of the 3 sources currently cited, the only one that mentions I-CBT was written by the developer. I can only find one mention of it on google news, but it's a community post (AKA user-generated content) which doesn't help establish notability. And I can't find any mentions of this brand of I-CBT in any academic journals or books. —PermStrump(talk) 03:40, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
PermStrump: Thanks for the edits, I'll talk to the doctor and see if I can get some third party sources. The method is relatively new, so I might have to revisit it at a later date.
