Futsal edit

A look at the IWGA website found no mention of futsal or of its international governing body. Also, could not find any mention of futsal on the schedule for the 2013 games - refer http://www.theworldgames.org/the-world-games/cali-colombia-2013/calendar. Restored the [dubious ] template as this was removed without any explanation why futsal or the AMF should be mentioned in this article. I do appreciate that the following reference attributed to the Toronto Futsalon Association does say that futsal will be demonstrated at the 2013 World Games -Futsal AMF in the World Game, there is still no mention on the IWGA website.Cowdy001 (talk) 07:22, 25 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
Check the information on the incorporation of futsal in the World Games the the link that appears in the article or otherwise on the website of the World Games 2013: http://www.theworldgames2013.com/. Find a segment that says "Jardin de los Deportes" or "Garden Sport" where sports related exhibition in games including FUTSAL with an exhibition tournament. For more information look tournament's article in Spanish Wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.114.7.85 (talk) 12:52, 25 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
Again, I have restored the [dubious ] template. I have looked at http://www.theworldgames2013.com/ and could not find any mention of futsal. I have previously looked at the WP article,World Games 2013 and found no mention of Futsal. Should not it be mentioned there? It is certainly not one of the five listed 'invitational sports'. I checked Australian websites and found three articles about the Australian team preparations for an event in Cali at the same time as the 2013 World Games. One of the articles suggest that Futsal event may have been a separate event that was run in parallel to the 2013 World Games - refer http://www.australianfutsal.com/NationalTeams/MensWorldGames2013.aspx. Anyway, this article is about the IWGA, not about individual sports, their governing bodies, their ambitions for Olympic participation or their disputes with others. My initial concern was and remains that the IWGA website has no mention of futsal and does not list the Futsal international governing body as being a member. I would consider the IWGA to be the authority on this matter.Cowdy001 (talk) 19:37, 25 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
For that matter, there's no mention of hapkido either, while the IWGA site mentions that a federation must be part of SportAccord to be considered for membership with them (the fustal and hapkido federations are not members of SportAccord). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.165.16.107 (talk) 00:01, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
The IWGA website has just been consulted and the following changes made - Futsal and Hapkido has been removed while Floorball, Lacrosse and Muay thai have been added. Cowdy001 (talk) 06:53, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
