Do we need to eject this from the main article, and so soon?
The milk scandal article is at present only 48k in length, nowhere near the sort of length when this sort of content ejection is usually considered necessary in wikiland. The creation of this page, with content lifted directly from there, risks it becoming a POV fork, home to potential copyright violations, and dumping ground for attacks on China which cannot be so easily controlled. - Hi, I am a newcomer, only know the basic of wiki.
I think 3 countries have been missed out, (1)New Zealand and (2)Danmark.Nz company Fonterra has 43% stake in Sanlu Dairy Co., which started the whole ordeal. Arla Foods, a Danmark company, has a joint venture with Mengniu, called Mengniu-Arla, and products of these 2 joint ventures all tested positive in melamine.(3)Australia is sampling White Rabbit candies, which is sold only in China Towns, to test the presence of melamine.Arilang1234 (talk) 08:20, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
- Arla is a Mainland JV, and all indications are that the production is for the internal market, and there is no hint that any is exported; True about White Rabbit, but I think the effect on it is more appropriately dealt with in its own article. Ohconfucius (talk) 08:38, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

- I'm a newcomer in Wikipedia. So far no copyright notices have been posted, but the information is, by all means, relevant. The issue here is not if the mentioned country is attacked or not, (because removing the article can also be considered as a protective measure to this country). The issue is, if the public deserves being informed of the actions taken by another countries. This actually shows the extent of the problem: This country's production spreads throughout the globe. So actually such a problem should be notified to the affected ones: the whole planet.Cllopezm (talk) 22:56, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
