Its production was not fully discontinued in '98, it just switched from the United States to Brazil catering mostly to Latin American, African and Australian export markets. Name of truck edit
Where does "Newport" come from? From all the sources I have seen, this has never occurred; many versions have this as the CO9670, 9700, 9800i. While this shouldn't be deleted just yet, it is worth sorting out, considering that this article has been here almost 9 years. --SteveCof00 (talk) 20:11, 27 November 2017 (UTC)
Still in production. edit
This truck is still in production in New Zealand. It is now known as the 9870. Not hard to fact check just look up intertruck nz. 2406:5A00:2862:1000:5D2B:2BB:B7E6:EA66 (talk) 00:07, 17 April 2022 (UTC)
