Talk:Interactive Storytelling Game

This page is a mess edit

I just did a major edit to the initial (and nearly orphan) post. It still reads like an advert for the ISG linked at the bottom of the page. Is this page even worth the effort of saving and cleaning? Also, the vast majority of the page contents are copied directly from the Shadowstar Games, Inc. website. Even if this is not a copywrite violation, it is in extremely bad form. The Bearded One 22:07, 9 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Nomination for Deletion edit

Here's a real kick in the pants: I just read through my downloaded PDF version of Fantasy Imperium, and right there on page 11 of the .pdf (page 1 of the Introduction) is the quote, "Fantasy Imperium is a Historical Fantasy Role Playing Game set in Medieval Europe."

Since the term "Interactive Storytelling Game" does not appear in the text of the game itself (though it is on the website), I nominate this article for deletion. The Bearded One 06:47, 18 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Strange redirect edit

I don't understand the redirect. In the AfD discussion we had proposed redirects to Role-playing game, Interactive storytelling Storytelling game and no one mentiond redirect to Interactive fiction yet it ends up pointing there.

It its OK with people I'd like to change this to a four way redirect. --Salix alba (talk) 12:25, 24 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • I'm not sure what you mean by "four-way redirect", but the best candidate for ISG to redirect to in my opinion would be Storytelling game. The Bearded One 13:17, 24 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • Sorry not clear four way disambig: something like

-- Interactive Storytelling Game can refere to

-- There is a whole other meaning to the term which is not connected with computers. More interms of free inprovisation or educational fields. The idea being to get the children to make up the story as part of a game. I'm still trying to hunt out some references to these. --Salix alba (talk) 15:24, 24 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
