Talk:Integrated urban water management in Medellín

Notes edit

Michael

I read the wikipedia on Medellin it is very nice, congratulations. There is only one text I recommend you to review:

"Consistent and adequate precipitation usually ensures that storage reservoirs feeding the Medellín River can deliver approximately 170 m3 of water to the MAM.[2] " This sentence has a problem. The water which supply the MAM comes from other basins outside of Medellin Basin and the volume has o be relate to a time and it is too small. Please take a look on that.

Best Regards

Carlos

Water losses edit

Water losses are prevalent and in 2008, losses were at 36%. From this total, 60% are physical losses and 40 % commercial losses. There is a water loss reduction program focused on physical losses that takes into account a portion of the network. [1]
