Comment
editThis is without a doubt part of the Chechen conflict, calling this a seperate issue is foolish.—Preceding unsigned comment added by AlexCCCP (talk • contribs)

Belligerents
editHow was Georgia participating in this conflict? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ArsenalAtletico2017 (talk • contribs) 17:37, 13 September 2018 (UTC)
Was there a war?
editI'm not sure that this is the common name for this conflict. The only source in the article that uses this term is the 2008 BBC article, which quotes Magomed Mutsolgov and doesn't say that there was a war in its own voice.
It's tricky to count sources in Google Books/Scholar since most of "War in Ingushetia" hits are about the early 1990s conflict.
Are there good reasons to keep the current name? Alaexis¿question? 21:03, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
To be clear, I would prefer something like Insurgency in Ingushetia, per HRW and other sources. Alaexis¿question? 21:06, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- That's probably a better alternative. I've also wondered whether this article is titled appropriately before. Super Dromaeosaurus (talk) 21:52, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
- I think Insurgency in Ingushetia would be a more fitting name. Ola Tønningsberg (talk) 17:07, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
