Hello! I am editing this article for my Genetics class with From the original article that was here I reorganized some of the information to different categories as well as removing some information that I expanded on in different words. I also removed and added information to the Mechanism of action section, as it is no longer the case that it is not well understood. I also added the following categories and expanded on them: Function, CTCF insulator, gypsy insulator, beta-globin locus, Genetic implications (including imprinting and transcription), and Mutations and cancer.
